List of Samsung Devices to get 4.4 Kitkat Update

Samsung users have been waiting for so long for 4.4 Kitkat update. Well, the wait is over for some of the devices. So, you might be wondering whether your device is there or not in the update list. Thanks, to an internal document that has been obtained from Samsung itself.
Samsung always focuses on new devices and updates and forgets about their old devices. But this time, not for every old device but Yes some of them will finally get the 4.4. Kitkat update. The most awaited update starts rolling on devices till this coming June.
The 4.4 Kitkat update provides a number of innovative, easy-to-use features that enhance the user experience, including a more intuitive user interface, enhanced messaging capabilities and updated applications:
*. Location Menu: An integrated location menu enables users to easily activate GPS, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, and Wi-Fi etc.
*. Enhanced Messaging: Enables users to choose between Messages or Hangouts as their preferred default messaging application.
*. Upgraded Google Mobile Service™ apps: Users can automatically backup photos and videos and can open, view and share Google Docs and files.
Note: The above features may vary as updates are confirmed or released!
The documents also tell that we didn’t hope for – The Galaxy SIII (GT-I9300) isn’t getting Kitkat, due to “unresolved problems”. We guess the problem might be that of the device has only 1GB of RAM (LTE and US models with 2GB RAM)
Sources say that Samsung has started testing 4.4.3 for the Galaxy S5 and, now it’s possible that some devices may directly skip to 4.4.3 update rather getting 4.4.2. But, it tells at the possibility that the updates will take time to arrive.
Some of the devices like Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 3 Neo have already got the new update of 4.4.2. Samsung is working on the update for Galaxy S3 but might take some time as it seems like Samsung is having a bit of trouble implementing its TouchWiz applications, which is stopping the device from loading system apps. This clears that the RAM is not an issue with the Galaxy S3. For now, the Samsung’s Dev team has cancelled the update for Galaxy S3. As soon as there are some news for S3 we will update it. So, stay tuned.

A smartwatch, is a computerized wristwatch with functionality that is enhanced beyond timekeeping, and is often comparable to a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) device. While early models can perform basic tasks, such as calculations, translations, and game-playing, modern smartwatches are effectively wearable computers. Many smartwatches run mobile apps, while a few models run a mobile operating system and function as portable media players, offering playback of FM radio, audio, and video files to the user via a Bluetooth headset. Some smartphone models, also known as watch phones feature full mobile phone capability, and can make or answer phone calls.

Such devices may include features such as a camera, accelerometer, compass, calculator, cell phone, touch screen, GPS navigation, Map display, graphical display, speaker, scheduler, watch, SD cards that are recognized as a mass storage device by a computer, and rechargeable battery. It may communicate with a wireless headset, heads-up display, microphone, modem, or other devices.

Google launched the OS Android which is used in the latest devices. Google revealed its Android wear, A smartwatch. Followed by other known companies like Motorola, Samsung etc. So, how can LG be so behind in tech? Well, LG introduces its first Smartwatch named LG G Watch which is a smartwatch which is waterproof and dust proof. Both LG and Motorola revealed its smartwatches running Android Wear OS this year.

Android Wear OS in watches will show notifications from apps and messages. Google Voice will play a prominent role in this watches for better use and communication through voice commands. The first LG watch will be square shaped whereas the Moto360 will be circular in shape.
Well, we expect to see more Android Wear loaded watches with extra feature in the coming months; other partners includes ASUS, Htc, Samsung, Fossil etc.
The company has confirmed that the watch will be available to the public at large by coming June or July and that too for less than £180. In between, Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 is expected to be with a greater price tag.
The 'Google Now' feature seems to be the most attractive one as the voice commands do all you want like, Setting and alarm, looking for some nearby places or opening of some of your apps or some of your reminders.
The company says, 'The screen that never sleeps'. Actually we are unaware of the sentence and don't know what actually it means. Will get to know when it is released. :P

The watch will be available in two colors, Black and White.
Sources say that the screen of the watch will be 1.65 inches IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 280x280 pixels along with a 512 mb ram and 4gb of internal storage.
